First off, Merry Christmas to everyone. I hope you have a blessed Christmas with family and friends.
Now for my frustration...I am up about 1 and a half pounds. This is my first time since surgery that I have gained. What! Gained? I know it doesn't seem like a lot but it is a set back in my mind. It reminds me that this is a constant battle and I need to remain vigilant.
With the holiday coming up and spending time with my family, I need to remember all the WLS rules of the road:
1. No grazing
2. No carbs
3. No sugar
4. EXERCISE
5. Lots of Water
So here's to following the WLS rules during the holidays and every day and here's to getting back on the losers bench.
Good thing that you recognized the small gain now and are doing something about it. It was far too easy in our pre-op days to see the scale go up, think screw it, and soon that 1.5 lbs turned into 15, 25, 50 lbs.
